Corey Poole is a cultural policy expert currently leading the City of Mississauga’s award-winning efforts to grow its music sector. He’s spent the last decade helping build better regulatory frameworks for creators through cross-sectoral research and policy projects aimed at all three levels of government in Canada.
He’s happiest when leading innovative projects that get artists paid and build new audiences. Before diving full-time into policy, he worked as a DJ and musician in an electro-punk band signed to a rap label.
