Kate Declerck is the Public Affairs Advisor with the Canadian Commission for UNESCO where she contributes to raising awareness about CCUNESCO’s work in the fields of education, science, culture, and communication and information. Previously, she worked as a Program Officer for the Canada Council for the Arts, administrating touring and public engagement grants for artists and arts organizations. She has a background in cultural project management and marketing, having worked in Vancouver, the UK and Belgium and travelled internationally to produce and promote festivals, tours, community engagement, and arts education programs. She holds a Bachelor of Music (McGill University) and Masters in Cultural Management (Northumbria University, UK).
