Intuitive, adventurous, and multitalented Zahra is a force. Her work is rooted in soul connection, and feels intimate, healing, and genuine. As a storyteller, she draws latent knowledge out of the experiences she hears and shares with others. She brings the same expressions from the heart to her work as a DJ, host, and music community builder. Her internationally recognized radio show Lunar Rotations has recently added a live component, making a home at ZeigelHaus (246 Dundas Street) and bringing live musicians in the mix with her DJing. She is part of the Sunfest Board of Directors, the JUNO Awards Rap Category Committee, the RBC Prism Prize Jury, and is the founder of The ISO Project Music Video Incubator for Artists of Colour in London. Her intention is to expand and advocate for the musical community in the city of London, which she does so tirelessly, passionately, and in service to the Arts.
